Picture framing

Once we have produced your inkjet prints we can mount and frame them for you behind glass in a variety of different, modern frames. As there are so many options available please ask for approximate prices.

Prices also vary according to the size of frame required and the size of the print.  Whatever the size of the print to view, the frame will always be bigger than the print view size as we always mount our prints to give a gap between tyhe print and the glass.

FOR INSTANCE, if you want your print to fit an A3 size frame the print will be centred on A3-size quality photo paper taking account of the size of the mount (ie the actual picture to view will be less than A3 in size.

All frames are also sealed with high quality adhesive tape to further protect your print and frame.

Acrylic sandwich frames
Your prints can also be sandwiched between two acrylic panels, either edge-to-edge, or we prefer to leave a border all round.

Your print can be sandwiched between a black, frosted or white background acrylic panel with a clear acrylic panel in front. The two panels are then held in place by a 'stand-off' (the top part has a long thread which passes through a hole in both panels and screws into the base part) which can be anodised aluminium (polished silver or polished black) or chromed solid brass (polished or satin finish).

A unique 'Spring Thingy' hanging system will allow the acrylic panel frame to hang on two normal picture hooks on the wall. The 'Spring Thingy' system has hooks which fit under the base part of the stand-offs and the springs tension the special looped wire and pulls the frame flat against the wall. The stand-offs have felt pads which means the stand-offs will hold your frame against the wall without marting it, giving the effect the frame is floating.
