Photo Archiving
Have that shoebox full of photographs in your attic turned into a digital archive. We will scan your photographs and create a digital archive (indexed in categories, if so wished) on a CD/DVD.
 
Any damaged/creased/faded photograph(s) can be retouched or restored and we also have a range of services for that special/favourite photograph (enlargements, special effects etc, including printing onto fine art or quality inkjet photo paper – up to A2 size –as a keepsake. Framing options also available).
 
We can also produce an indexed photobook showing thumbnail prints of all your archived/scanned photographs. Prices vary according to the number of photographs to be scanned.  Contact us and ask for a quote for your specific needs.

Gunney Photo Design offers a range of professional photographic services including scanning and enlarging photos and printing out on high quality inkjet photo paper, fine art paper, canvas or metal, copying and restoring old or damaged photos, photo editing and retouching, photo manipulation and all sorts of artistic effects and Triptychs, plus archiving your old photographs on to a CD/DVD in digital form. 
 
Gunney Photo Design are also able to frame any photographic prints selecting from a wide choice of frames and mounts and budgets.  If you prefer the more modern acrylic sandwich frames we can arrange that for you as well.
 

Our speciality – Photobooks (A4 landscape or prortrait, A3 landscape or 12”x12”) are hand-designed to your specifications.

 

Working in magazine design for many years Gunney Photo Design (Colin Gunney) has vast experience in design and handling photos in Photoshop – the software all the professionals use. 

 

It may be possible to get photobooks cheaper (or with more pages as standard) but you will not get the individual care and attention I lavish on each photobook nor the quality and finish. (for special offers and discounts see my SPECIAL OFFERS page.

 

There is no factory production line – just good old fashioned individual care and attention.

 

Initially I will speak to you and listen about the type of Photobook/album you wish to have. I will talk you through every stage, offer advice and provide you with many options/alternatives before starting the design process.

 

Working to your brief, I will design your 40 page (or more) photobook using a combination of Adobe Photoshop and dg Foto Art (the software used by many of the big names in the online photobook industry).

 

Once the design is completed I will produce a slide show of the photobook and email it to you for your approval.  At this stage you can make any amendments, change pictures etc. 

 

Only once the design, layout and content has been approved will I start printing the pages ready for binding.

 

Each side of each page will be printed by myself and allowed to 'cure' (dry) before printing the other side of the page. Once all the pages are printed I will hand-collate all the pages and bind them in the album myself. 

 

I handle every step of the photobook production myself.

My aim is to give you a high-quality Photobook that you will love. This means I will keep you in the loop at all times – after all it is your photobook.
